RX8 questions

I'm considering buying an RX8, I drive a Corolla XRS now (8400rpm redline) and have found a love for high reving motors, now I want a RWD sports car to sit in the driveway next to my corolla and drive on weekends.

Does the RX-8 have a cable throttle or a stupid drive by wire system?

Does the RX-8 respond well to bolt on mods or does it need some kind of FI to drop into low 14s?

Any known issues with RX-8s in general?

Which version is it that comes with a 6 spd tranny and LSD?

How much did you pay for your RX-8s?

I'm going for a test drive later this week

I'm going to say this nicely because some others won't. You're going to need to do a little more searching before asking these very generic and common questions. Just peruse the forums for a few hours. It's an expensive car -- it's worth the time.
