It seems like you could have just bought a Sport if you're going to replace the suspension and wheels and add a body kit.

The intake and duct is basically just for sound. Get the BHR coils it will be much cheaper(500 I think?) and they come with leads as well. Replacing the plugs is a good idea just get the oem ones. You do not need that clutch, the oem clutch or a similar one will do just fine for you.

Leave the suspension alone, it is near perfect, I just Autocrossed mine and then ran it up in the mountains with the Porsche friends and they were blown away by it. One rode with me and kept asking me what suspension mods I had and refused to believe it was stock.

The only mod I would make to the suspension (and did) would be a front swaybar and a better alignment. Next on my list is better tires.

Don't waste you money in intake and exhaust the ROI is nil, $1000+ spent for maybe 5HP if that.

I agree on the lightened flywheel, great upgrade and will make the car much more fun. I think the Hi Performance clutch is over kill though and again a waste of money.

I am still trying to figure out why you would take off the R3 rims. If anything buy a set of rims dedicated for AX and track days. But the R3 rims are sexy.

Do what you have to do I LENNY I, it's your ride, not ours...good luck and update any mods you add.

Welcome aboard.

Honestly, aside from the ignition upgrades (reliability, yay), what are your plans for the car that you need those upgrades? This car is less about upgrading everything than it is about finding the stock limits and upgrading the thing that's holding you back. Actually, in many cases even in a stock RX8 (and R3 on top of that!), the driver is holding back the car.

But hey, really depends on what you want to do with the car, and at the end of the day, it's your money.

Smashed in the Revi intake and duct and yes i wasn't expecting 200bhp from it but the sound is epic is it no?

and am dropping the clutch as it is over kill indeed. am not changing the R3 wheels as they are sexy am getting them sprayed black as it will flow with the cars look after the rest of the work is done

Pics to follow...

I wouldn't recommend the eibach springs, you won't get much drop in the rear. I'd recommend the Tanabe gf210. As mentioned before, the only suspension mod that makes a difference would be the sway bars. I'd highly recommend the Hotchkis swaybar kit. What would make the biggest difference though would be some wider wheels and a good set of tires.

lol when I put mine in I saw that they show in the instructions that you can pul the filter out for cleaning without removing the box. So I said F taking the bumper off I'll just put the bolts in from the filter side!! Needless to say the instructions lie and I had to remove the bumper after all lol Intake and duct sound awesome in my opinion :-) Pretty decent roar up top but not as loud as a k&n sri for sure!!

Yeah but the RB actually gives you a horse or too

The K&N just steals some and sends them to the glue factory

I never actually ran a k&n because of that reason I was just comparing the noise levels :-P

After I installed my sway bars I noticed an immediate improvement in the handling. I have the Hotchkis bars set on the stiffest setting front and rear and I can feel every bump on the road. Good thin with adjustable bars is that if it's to stiff for you you can make em' a tad softer.

My set was $380 shipped. I installed them by myself, it wasn't that hard. Look on the forum for tips for an easy install. Personally, I think it's the only mod to improve the R3's handling short of getting a nice set of coilovers.

I ordered the Pettit racing flywheel as it seem to be the best and lighter than others here the link to it

Why didn't you get the BHR flywheel? It is about 2lbs. lighter than the Pettit one.
