RX8 reliability

I stoped reading post half way through page 1....
Okay, 2004 thru mid 2006...Mazda had an issue for a few things, the OMP being one of them.
Mazda had a recall on all rx8s, they were ran through a vacuum test, if it failed, it got a new motor or a rebuild...
Early 2004 models didnt have this mess up, i'm guessing somthing went wrong at mazda and it was screwing up the OMP.
Anyway, It's just like any other car, take care of it, I dont care that people say, you can abuse it all you want because it's a rotary motor, yeah, it can take alot, but damn, its not invinsible. The motor likes to be opened up now and again, because if you dont, due to the design of the engine, it builds up carbon led...
Just run it when u feel like it needs to be ran, do go stupid with it and try and blow the motor up...engines tend to get hot...after you open it up and run it...give it twice to the time to cool down and let it have time to rest..
I get on my car like every other day...like maybe once or twice...just to free it up alittle.
I pretty much baby my car untill I wanna free it up...
anyway, im talking to much and lost track about what my main subject was lol..
Some blew up because mazda messed up...well their fixed now...don't worry about it. Their sick cars.
BTW, my 2004 rx8 has 82k miles on the original motor....its still running like its brand new.
Do not run 5W20...its way too thin for a rotary motor...use atleast 5W30. Synthetic oil is recommended...despite what mazda says. Their just trying to pass government laws and regulations.
Rotary motor + 5w20 = bad news over time.
