just looks like some new products are on the horizon for the rx8, new body kit, wheels, maybe a few new suspension parts(the tokyo auto salon is in january, thats probably where mazda will annouce some new parts).
Nothing on a mazdaspeed version though, and i wouldn't hold your breath waiting for it either.

The speed will be provided by pro-tuners and not Mazda. Mazda turned LAZY on the RX-8.

Check out Pettit's supercharger, Hymee's supercharger, RP and his AxialFlow supercharger. Or check out Mazsport's Turbo, which is putting down some good numbers.

Once you buy one of those supercharger or turbo kits, then you can get one of those Mazdaspeed logo's for the back of your car. Then BAAAMMMMM... You have a Mazdaspeed RX-8.

I would not expect anything from Mazda, but new color paint or new CD changer.
