Last time I checked, it can run through a road course with the best of them.

Nissan has a good platform. It is not a problem except for the weight. It adds a lot of it. Why is the 06 up to 3300lbs anyway? Keep in mind, I think most new cars are heavy. Depends on what you want out your car really.

I'm 6 ft 5" and weigh a little over 250. back in 2004 i tested a Z and found it very cramped and the ride was terrible. I ordered my 2004 RX obviously without a road test. I was concerned that I might not fit in it any better than the Z and the dealer gave me an out if I didn't fit . I have tons of leg room, shoulder and hip room. I'd have better head room if I hadn't ordered the moonroof and wearing a helmut in it is quite laughable. I have better leg room and shoulder room than in my vette and my bug eye. The joke is....I don't really get into the car...I put it on.

Bugeye WRX? Of all the cars you mention the RX-8 was the only one I couldn't find a comfortable position in. When I adjusted the seat to a good spot my knees hit the steering wheel.

really?! i'm 6'5" 200 lbs and i find the rx-8 quite comfortable, even when my seat is pushed forward a bit for backseat passengers. when i first test drove it, i wasnt expecting this level of comfort, and was very pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the cabin. are you taller or heavier than me?

Knees hit the steering wheel? How close do you sit? do you lean forward over the steering wheel also? Im 6'2" 210 and have more than enough space in the RX-8 with the steering wheel pushed all the way down and even with a smaller girl sitting behind me.

the only time my knees hit the steering wheel was when I was bringing my two friends 6'5" and 6'3" and my other friend sitting behind me 5'11" back from south beach. That truly looked like a clown car then...but hey, if I had the 350z I would have had to make 3 trips!

I have to admit that the diameter of the stock steering wheel on the RX-8 feels a little big, but I'm fairly certain that it was a conscious decision to make the car have more of a civil grand tourer feel than an all out sports coupe.

The backseat may not be useable but the Spoiler definately is!

Took me forever to get the fingerprints off. Felt Like I was in CSI or something.

I'm 6'2" and about 180. I sit a little more forward than some people, it's the sitting position I picked up from doing trackdays and racing shifterkarts. I've never had a problem with it in any car I've owned but with the RX-8 I would have had to get used to a new position.

Just an FYI I'm not all legs and have an average inseam for my height.
