Ok, I think that anyone else that starts a post about which is quicker, RX8 or..... anything should be beat and baned. None of the three you mentioned were designed to drag. They were ment to go down a twisty bit of road as fast as possible. If you want pure 0-60 and 1/4 mile, get a GTO.

I was driving an S2000 when I bought my 8. I came VERY close to buying a realy clean used 05 STI earlier this year (I drove it about daily for a month). I didn't buy the STI becouse I realized I would hardly drive it once I got over the newness of it. I would spend all my time in my 8. In my opinion, the 8 is just as (if not more) fun, alot more comfortable, and a hell of alot better looking. I do miss the convertable at rare times. But that is what I have my motorcycle for.

 

There are many "inside jokes" on this forum. More than any that I have ever participated in. Not a great user-friendly environment, especially not for the so-called "Noobs". Noobs...thats a funny term...and here it applies to anyone new to RX8's, but also those not on the inside line of the clever sarcastic elite. As far as being car-savvy I can guess who the real noobs are.

Not directed at mwc, but just an observation based on his comments and those of others.

From 0 - 50,000 miles, the wrx sucks. So the rx8 and s2000 win that one.
from 0 - people think you are gay . . . s2000 hands down.

once the wrx is in the shop, and the s2000 owner is getting therapy . . ..

I came into this thread because I wanted to see what the thread starter was saying and I wouldn't have said anything at all in this thread. But I came across you and I. So basically I am pointing you and ike out for doing something pointless. THAT was my point of saying something in here. Meaning if you wouldn't have said anything towards a Crossfire that was pointless for this thread, I wouldn't have said anything.
