Question RX8Club.com License Plate Holder

Is there a chrome license plate holder available that has RX8Club.com across the bottom? Similar to the one that has RX8... I wonder if any vendors would be interested in producing one??? A great way to advertise the forum without putting stickers on the car... I'd be the first customer. :D

if you go to www.knobmeister.com he will make a custom stainless steel one that will last much longer than a chrome, and you wont have to worry about the pitting on the chrome.

Care to coordinate? Let him know there are interested parties. Maybe he'll become a sponsoring vendor?

I can say the frames are very high quality, I had one done for my Miata. It looked great as was well made. He even sent me a CAD drawing of the font and what it looked like before it was done.

The Miata folks have been using his stuff for years and seem to have no complaints.

I would not mind having one - in black powercoat. I have an S2KI frame on my S, but it is cheap plastic

I will e-mail Mr. **** and ask about a minimum order to get plates made "cheap".

Would we want:

RX8Club
RX8Clib.com
www.Rx8Club.com

?????

I finally heard back from "Mr ****" and he can't make us plates - he has been served with a "Cease and desist" order from Mazda tell him to stop making products using the Mazda logos and model (Miata, MX-5, RX-8, etc).

Sounds like "in theory" they could claim than RX8Club violates their rights as well?

RX8Club.com, the RX8 does not have a dash before the 8 so technically its different. The tag would also be advertising the website and not the car, so I think it should be just fine. However, we can't do anything about it if "Mr. ****" refuse to do it.
