Sad news
#26
Sorry to hear you had to give up the car. My wife refused to sit in the back with the babies for fear that they would grow to expect it. I think it was a good decision as they are both good travelers now and can amuse themselves. They also love the RX-8, even though they have some trouble seeing out of the back portholes. They are now 4 and 6.

I just got the call... the buyback checks are ready earlier than expected. It used to take three weeks but I suppose the backlog is over and Mazda is down to the last few buybacks.
It really is sad. How come (most) girls don't understand the attachment then boys have with their cars. I am trying to figure out how/where to get one last fling in (with photos) before Saturday when I return the car to Jeff Haas Mazda.
This is the first car I bought a personalized license plate for. It is also the first car I bothered to wash myself - and not just wash but claybar and then the full zaino process. I have kept it spotless inside and out (no food or drink has ever been inside teh cabin) and have a log of every fillup of gas, every oil check and service. I have made a document for the next owner of the history of the car, what revs it likes, what kind of fuel, how often to check things etc - I hope they appreciate it.

I also noticed that the rear-view mirror (which has the homelink and auto dimming) is EXACTLY the same in the two cars! Infiniti and Mazda are obviously getting the mirror from the same supplier. That should help me feel at home in the G :p.

you def. made the right decision man. sure a car is fun, but ultimately (and obviously, thank god) the baby is WAY more important, and will also bring much much more joy than any car ever could.
Enjoy the new ride and hopefully youll stick around

I returned it today - the skies wept. OK, actually there were big thunderstorms, which of course canceled the RX-7 scenic drive I tried to attend before returning the car. Such is life.
Anyway check out some pics of the old and the new at:

Pelucidor, pardon me but have you give back the car because of your children or finance ?
Because it' not a house that I see behind the new car - it's a castle
The new is a car we don't have here in France, but seems to be a good one.
