I believe I've read this type of problem before, and they had to take it to the dealership to have them fix it, because it's impossible to fix without opening the piece up and replacing the..uhh..."clipper" thingy.

I'll search and see if I can find it.

*EDIT* Try this.

*EDIT2* Another one, just in case you need it.

I've read about this problem before. There is certainly knowledge regarding this issue somewhere in the forum.

I consider this to be one of the *problem*

yeah I understand that we're not suppose to use the front belt for the rear lock. but how can it even gets *stuck* in the first place ? maybe make the front bucket bigger so it will not fit the rear lock no matter how many times u try ?

sheesh Mazda !

happened to me too... i broke mine back buckle apart (destroying it) got the front buckle out, and ordered a new back buckle from www.onlinemazdaparts.com for like $19.00.

Just make sure your kid knows that if it happens again, it's coming out of their pocket :P
