Seats ??

Can we opt not to have the silver covers put on the sides and/or the back of the front seats? If so, do we just tell the dealer that we ordered the car from? I think the silver covers both on the seats and the side of the console is going to get scratched to hell and look awful after a few years especially!

I think the material is well tested and won't get scratched that easy. But has anyone thought of respraying it in the car's colour? I go for winning blue and IMHO it would look great together with the black leather... Could anyone photoshop that ?

I did it in red because blue would have clashed with the red exterior.

If you find a winning blue pic with the doors open than I can do that one also.

*cringe*

I'm sure it will last. And the matching back just doesn't look right...

Maybe just a black back would look better -- the body color just doesn't look classy IMHO.

Here it is in black (my P.S. skills suck so the black doesn't match up well, sorry).

a friend of mine at work recently bought one of the new Protege's and the silver trim is already scratched up.....anything that hits it leaves a black mark!

Thanks. But that is the extent of my photoshop skills. Anything more complicated turns out like crap. Just glad I could help out.

I actually think that body colored backs might work. Doing it in photoshop doesn't give you an idea of what it would really be like since PS cannot created the gradiations, glares, and metallic portion of the body color. Porsche does body colored backs on their sport seat backs and it typically looks really great (guess it depends on the color, silver and dark blues look great cannot remember seeing a red one though).
