If you look carefully you can see that one of those gauges monitors the owner's bank account.

If power is the real issue that you want to get rid of the 8, maybe you should be looking at a trade in on a mustang GT, SRT4, or an STI. At least you get the warrenties on those, but buying a 12 year old car that's been obviously pushed real hard is just opening you bank account to your local mech/auto parts store.

If your looking for power, I'd say get the mustang...

I agree with rodrigo. Trading for a Mustang GT sounds like your best move since all you seem to care about anymore is power, and trading your RX-8 for a GT probably won't cost you too much since they're relatively inexpensive. I remember reading a post by you where you claimed an EVO was nothing more than an econobox with a turbo. After reading this thread of yours, that car sounds perfect car for you now, except for the fact that you'd have to spend a lot of money on the trade.

At any rate, with a Mustang you won't have to worry about finding specialized mechanics to diagnose problems with your car since you'll have a warranty, unlike the beat up FD. Of course, you're going to lose the nimble agility of the RX-8, the smooth rotary engine that you can rev to 9000 RPM, and the added bonus of driving a car you don't see on the road every ****** 10 minutes. But at least you'll be slaugthering most cars at stop light races just like you want. Why not head down to Ford right now before they close?

I hate american cars lol.
But thanx for the advice thou..
If I bought it, I was gonna install A/C , P/S,,maybe ABS.. no big deal
Besides, I believe properly modded FD will be still reliable as opposed to stock FD where it has a BUNCH of problems..
But I think i'll let this one go
I'll get one in the near future I guess as a 2nd car.
I'll just have to see what PTP will come up with !!!

I agree with rx8ntexas - I also have a 94-7 and 04-8 and would never consider using the 7 as a daily driver. The 7 furnace does bode well here in the Texas summer and the car is considerably more fragile than the 8.
