We got beat by a Forester, how sad. RX-8 couldn't even make the list! The Speed6 made it, though.

The WRX and MS3 both have a base under 25 Grand. I'm sure they're both on the 20-25 grand list.

 

That was based on acceleration according to the first paragraph of that article. No surprise the 8 wasn't mentioned as it isn't a 0-60 kind of car.

What's with the 5000 rpm rev limiter on the Evo? Did they decide to swap out for a diesel?

 

No, they are all quicker than the 8. I was just responding to why STI, or an svt20900gt supersport what ever was not on there.

 

That only on the newer models and on on the launch when the clutch isn't engaged. They did it to prevent people from frying their clutch with 6k+ clutch drops. Luckily it's pretty easy to override and people that have gotten used to it and drive well have done far better than the mags have been able to. I believe 12.7 is the best time done in a stock Evo IX.

 

The STI is over 30k and the WRX was stuck in the below 25k group.
