I didn't see a thread like this so I made one.

this probably happened yesterday..i went to the park to play soccer with ppl..the park was so packed that i had to park outside on the grass..it is a big park with a baseball, soccer, track and a football field..when i got home next thing i noticed was a plastic hanging on the bottom of the front bumper..went to go check it and found out that my left fog light was loosen..so whoever was trying to steal it couldnt do it without taking the bumper out..correct?

I would guess that it is far more likely that you had previously taken a hit from road debris there, and hadn't noticed.

Simply that your fog lights face more threat from road debris than they do from thieves trying to steal a fairly inexpensive and common part off of an uncommon car.

When I took a hit from a huge tire retread section, that fog light was smash back harder and farther, but in a similar look. (The rest of the bumper, air dam, and splash pan were shattered badly from the brunt of the hit)

Yeah, it's funny. When I got a big chip on my windshield, it was just that spot. Everything was fine all around it. I guess someone must have picked that spot.

Damn crooks.
