She's Gone

Well, after about 3 years, I just said goodbye to my 8. This place has been an invaluable resource over the past few years and I wanted to thank everyone who helped me out. I hope to still check back from time to time like others who have parted ways with their rotary. I will miss her, but I'm sure my STI will console me.

Haha I actually parted from a WRX for a RX8, I just miss the power from them and the AWD. You will have fun with that car! The handling sold me on the RX8.

Post up a thread in the future, which includes your comparison review between your previous RX8 and your current STI.

I'd love to read about it.

I think "invaluable" is the wrong word.. but congrats on the sti! is it the 2011 sedan or -2010 hatchback?

in·val·u·a·ble
Beyond calculable or appraisable value; of inestimable worth; priceless.

Synonym = Precious

Hmmm, I think the OP used the correct word...?
--------------------------------------------------------
Anyways, I'm curious to know what specific STI, as well...

If used as a synonym then i SUPPOSE it could work, but i just assumed "valuable" would have been the more normal answer if you will.

post pics of that STI, would like to see it. my next car will most likely be a evo x. if im lucky enough i would LOVE to get the fq360, minus im pretty sure those need to be imported.

Thanks guys. Each car certainly has their strengths, but being from the Northeast, the AWD seems like a better fit for the winters. It's an '08 hatchback model, slightly used with only 13k miles. I do like the new sedans, but I just wonder how I would feel about that huge wing in a few years. The hatch seemed more practical to me as far as cargo space and what not. I will try and get some pics up when I can.

I see, you do make sense in that way.

Good luck on getting that Evo X.

Yeah, that massive wing on the STI Sedan could get a bit tiresome in the future. At least we know that you'll feel more mature with the hatchback.

Glad to know you're liking your newly acquired vehicle.

I look forward to the images.
