Shifting Sequence

On one thread there was a shifting sequence for track, shift to 1, 6 5, 4, 3, 2

I forgot which thread it was.

I tried it and got very sad results( No accelertation) probably because, if you shift to 6 its slow and progressive speed will be compensated by the down shifts giving you more speed as you progress.

Maybe everybody knows this, but I tried a 1 shift 9000 RPM to 3rd shift then to 5 shift. It gave me a pleasant feel for acceleration.

But's not like a rocket, all smooth accerleration which I love.

Damn, I love this car (^^)

Um, proper track shifting is 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 if necessary. If you're shifting into 6th you're doing it wrong.

You obviously don't know the secret JDM track shift sequence for maximum power:

Also, OP, reason it didn't work is because you did 1, 6 5, 4, 3, 2 instead of 1, 6 5, 3, 4, 2.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and then 6 is all you need to know for the fastest accelertion.

In the real world of saving gas and not going too much over the speed limit you can skip gears... But 1 to 6 is like "Why?"

B, A, Select, Start is only if you have a passenger with you. If you're driving alone, it's just B,A, Start

And if you have 4 passengers it's:

up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, A, B, A, B
