ON Shock Sensor causes lights to flicker

I have recently found out that my '04 Gt has a shock sensor. And every so often when i close the door it will cause the lights to flicker from dim to bright very rapidly for a second or two. I was just wondering if this is normal or if the sensor is defective. I know that they are adjustable, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I turn it one way and it'll be fine for 24hours or so.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

if a shock senor can sense you closing a door. theres something wrong.
Im pretty sure theres a connection problem with the door switch.

well to test just lock the car and kick the tires see if that sets off the alarm lol.
