should i buy 2005
im looking at a 2005 rx8 with about 58k miles on it its in my price range and its the black with the cherry tint... it looks good and its got everything i want but i want to put money into it as far as engine and looks go but, im split because i dont know if thats too many miles to start sinkin money into because i dontt want it to break down i want this car for about 5 years so is this going to do the job for me i currently have a peice of crap mitsubishi eclipse gs from 1999 non turbo so am i going to notice a difference in the cars handleing performance etc and also i dont want to have to put a ton of money into it in repairs ive been looking up for a a few days now on how to upkeep a rotar engine and found a lot of good info so i hope ill be fine in that aspect but my main question is ....
do it? or no
is it too many miles
(oh yea nd its being sold by a mazda dealer so he said he certified it does that mean anything or is that just crap)

thanks and do you know like when i go up to look at the car what i should have my mechanic look for to check to make sure there's no problems with it. also how long do you think that car will run to how many miles if i baby it like and put high octane gas in it becuase i love the rx8 i just don't wanna sink too much money into one if the miles are already high u know
will there be any significant difference between my car now the 99 eclipse gs and the rx8 as far as speed and handling

first of all REALLY look around for a good deal, you will find a good deal...there are people on here hitting well above 100K miles...these cars are fairly new so we yet to find out when the engine really starts having problems due to high milage...
as far as speed and handling go out and test one, and make sure to drive it like you stole it...also dont be afraid to redline

first - don't baby it. second - i believe ghostface meant to say shinka, not shakra version. third - get it!
the black cherry shinka was definitely one of my favorites. but just like any car, don't trust the dealer - have it checked out by someone else who has your best interests in mind. then buy it and drive it like you stole it.

Paint and leather were the only real difference.
If it is an 05 look to see the build date, located on the door sill. The later the model the better, just from the stand point that the flash which corrected the under oiling of the engine came out in early 06 so the closer to that time frame the less likely and seal damage could have occured.

i just went to go check out the car its got minor dents or w.e but the major issue i have with the car is that it had 4 owners and also had a lot of repairs done to it i don't know the history of the gas they used but the radiator was replaced and it was produced in 03/05 i checked the door and the guy told me he wants to sell it to me for 15000 with 59,000 miles on it it is gunna come with a mazda 100 mile warranty on it so ill keep you posted what do you think i should offer him?
