Me too. Had 8000k, a liitle purply for me, went to 6000k, much whiter and seem (even though I know they are not) brighter.

Easy to change, if you have the stock HIDs, you just order some D2S bulbs (got some 3000k in-transit - $19!)

Alright. I got my 6000K's in and installed them today. I burned one in to tell the difference in color. The 6000K were much whiter. While i'm not sure how much truth there is to this, but they seem a lot brighter. I was driving around for about 30 minutes after I had both swapped and noticed they showed up more than the 8000K during the dusk hours, while the 8000's I rarely could see the light unless it was decently dark.

I like these better so far, they definitely look more factory and in my opinion give the car a more classy look, esp compared to the 8000K.

The match my V-LED parking and corner lights pretty well, although, I will say the LEDs are actually a bit bluer than the headlights.

Would have taken pics, but didn't have time to wait until dark to do the swap.

The reason they look brighter is because they put out more useable light than the 8,000k's. 4300k is actually the optimal temp for pure white with the most useable light. Factory HID's are 4300K.

Simple answer, yes. Factory HID bulbs are 4200k. See post:

So, who's going to jump down to 3K for their primaries?

i think you lose too much lumens going down to 3k for it to work, i've tried yellow tint on the head lights with 5k bulbs before, looks very bright and with the yellow light you can see much more detail
