shoulder dimensions question
i may have to haul a 50 inch keyboard on friday, and i'm not going to have acess to my car till thursday late night (she's in my garage sleeping in long island for the week and i'm in brooklyn) and i need to know before thursday night if i can fit it. i found the rear shoulder dimensions to be between 52-54 inches (why doesn't everyone have the same dimensions), can i take a 48-52 inch keyboard by laying it across my back seats and closing the rear doors. i guess my basic q is what is the door to door length in the rear.

OK -- just to be a nice guy I went down to the garage and measured -- 52" X 24" item will fit laid across the back (on the center console of course)
I would probably slide the passenger seat all the way back and lay it flat -- more room this way and the keyboard would be faced down to the footwell (not the windshield). Either way should work fine (assuming your keyboard is really 50" long)

i did not think of the center pass, i'm not sure if it will fit but its an idea, but i'll surely have to remove my spare tire. my q is how big is center pass, i found someone say its only about 10 inches wide and i got the exact dimensions of the keyboard at 51" x 16" x 4", and add an inch or so for the beach towel or bubble wrap.

That won't fit through the center pass -- 14" is way too wide. It will fit in the back -- just wrap it up good. I would put it in on the passenger side and move the passenger seat all the way up first. It is easy to forget that the "freestyle" doors don't open all the way back -- you will have to angle it in -- so move the passenger seat out of the way first.
