silly snowtires question.

There aren't many mfgr's that make dedicated snow tires for our car as a matter of fact I went searching on The Tire Rack's web site and this came up:

They also said they may be out of stock untill next fall! WTF!!

You may be able to find winter tires locally. Look for sizes 225/50-17, or 215/55-17, with which you'd need a separate set of wheels. There are also winter tires in the original equipment 18 inch size if you don't mind having tires remounted on your wheels seasonally.
