I hate reading posts after posts and articles mentioning that the rx8 is a slow car. 0-60 5.9sec. 350z 5.4sec?? People bashing about how REALLY slow this vehicle is...and how unreliable it it...Second thoughts about buying this car now

The 8 isn't a straight line car. Stop focusing on the bad then maybe you will see the good
As for reliability, if you know how to treat this car it will treat you well in return.

Blast it, my car is slow! What have I done?? I'm just burning money. Part-out soon. I tired of braking on highway interchanges, anyway. Handling is overrated, anyway. Before long, I'll be driving like a school bus in turns like everyone else. But I'll get to those turns much faster.

 

5.9s is slow? if you want fast in the straight line, get a bike. 0-60 3s

 

Ok. Here's how I look at it: The 8, to me is a superhero, yet it has a flaw or weakness. Kinda' like Superman and his kryptonite.

Makes this car that much more interesting and special.

 

You need a big, yellow "S" on the top of your car.
