I have a 99 Camry which i owe 1700 on still an i have been look to get rid of. Yesterday i was driving an the engine completely broke something blew a hole through it and the car just stopped.i knew it was gonna die soon so i been looking at an RX8. So anyone have any advice? i want to get an RX8 but my car is dead an i owe money alot of money. a local dealer has a yellow 2004 GT RX8 with 31k miles for 15k but im sure i can talk them down a little.

Huge hole is huge
Yeah, you're definitely not in the financial position to get a used 8. Sorry, but you're probably going to be better off getting another used older car until you get a bit more money.

uh, don't get a used sportscar unless you have more funds. Especially when you aren't done paying off your current car. Especially when it's the engine which has been updated since the 04 model. Pay off your current ride, then look into an 06 or later rx8 if you are still interested.

Dude. If your Toyota Camry's engine let go like that, I'm guessing you didn't care to maintain it. You get the RX8 and not pay to properly maintain it, your $1700 bill is going to look like a parking ticket compared what you're going to pay fix the 8.
Just tires are going to break your bank... and then you'll end up not replacing the tires, drive them on cords in the rain, and then spin out and total your car like a few doughbars on here did.
Buy a Civic. I really mean it this time.

Yeah dude, I know you want this car but its just not time. Part of the reason the economy is a mess is because of people not being responsible and making poor financial decisions. You really should only buy a car that costs 1/3 of your yearly salary.
I can't tell you how many dudes I knew in the military driving bimmers that costs two years salary and then got their cars repossessed once they got out because they could not maintain the $800.00 monthly payments. I have a kid that works for me driving and STI paying $700.00 a month making $10/hr. It's just stupid. Really when you buy a car or a house you should put 20% down if you can. Some times you have to take risks but credit is very important later in life so don't screw it up.

And ps2gamer02... I'm sorry to hear about your car letting you down. That's a crappy feeling. i hope it all works out.
But since 9krpmrx8 still has the bandwagon going here...
DUDE. Do not buy this car. You will singlehandedly melt the polar ice caps because of your financial burden. Volcanos will erupt. Hair will grow where it's not supposed to. Techno will become popular again. Zombies and ****.
Don't buy it.
