So, how'd I do on the price?

I just found the window sticker in the glove box for our new to us 05 '8 Touring with A/T. Wow, it stickered at just over $30k. It's clean as a pin everywhere we look. It has 43k miles and nothing appears to need replacing anytime soon. Even found a warranty receipt where the battery was just replaced a couple of months ago. I paid $13.5 for this car. Did I get a great deal, good deal, or so-so deal? I certainly don't think I got "bent over" on this car.

That's a very fair price for a clean, one owner car, with that trim and low miles.

One thing to prepare yourself for is the Big White Elephant in the room here: the divide between those who frown on the A/T 8s because of the lower horsepower and those who don't care or prefer a slushbox.

Congrats on the purchase.

Better deal then me! 13.5k for a car like the 8? Sounds good to me.

sounds like a good deal, I paid $16500 for a 2006 Shinka with 11000 miles in January and I could not be happier. Welcome and enjoy your new car.
