^Lol, yes it does.
The car starts so powerfully now, I dont think I could flood it if I tried (which I WONT).
The brakes are squeeking again, but hell, they always will on the stock pads from what I hear. Another 5k miles and Ill put some nice Hawk pads on there and hopefully they wont shreek to a stop.

After reading this thread I get the impression that if you flood, you somehow can get Mazda to replace your battery/starter/plugs. Is this true? I've only had her for 2 months and I've flooded and got her going after some 25 min. of struggling and sure hope the recent recall flash will eliminate this problem forever.... a stronger starter would certainly come in handy up here in Montreal, Canada comes winter.

I live in montreal as well, but I'm storing mine for the winter. In goes the RX8, out comes the Passat...

Mine is an 04 6-speed GT with 44,000 km. It flooded one morning and I almost gave up trying. I had an 87 Rx7 for 11 yrs and never had problem starting after the few time it flooded. Are you guys serious about a formal complaint to the local dealer is all it takes? I've got to give it a try. Right now I'm seriously pissed about losing 13% on my already poor gas mileage after the flash. This puts the mileage at anywhere between 20% and 68% lower than Mazda's posted mileage for city and highway and I do mostly hwy commuting.
