Well my car is ok now. Got the shock changed by warranty. And installed everything successfully, now I just need to get the tuning done. The car feels ok so far. We shall see what happens.

sooo, in your opinion, is the greddy kit plus hairdryer upgrade worth it? because right now i have some disposable income, and its between hymee's SC ($7500) and your type of setup. but having been paying attention i dont know about the hassle of the turbo.........insight please?

The greddy kit plus hairdryer is very worth it. The car feels very close to stock in idle and general feeling. The drivability is improved a lot since now you have torque so I find myself driving in 6th gear a lot now. It may be a bit of hassle to get everything done but once its done it is great.

Take note that I am only running 5psi since I still dont have my tuning done fully. So I think it will be even better once I go up to 9 or 12 psi.

You need to send the RX8 back to the mother ship.

Galaxcy travel takes its toll.

Best of luck alien! I hope I'm able to get my setup with the hairdryer up and working pretty soon. I'm craving boost like a junkie looking for a fix.

Bah, no need to go over 7.5k anyway... your torque >>>>> mine. I'll get there someday. Jeff says I should have my turbo by the second week of April so... Gotta start getting my final bits in place so I'm ready to go.

to tell you the truth, I love how the car is but I had more fun driving it when it was N/A since I could rev it to 9k and that was half the fun, I cant wait to be able to rev it high again and feel like im actually racing haha.

hate to say it, and I'm sure your aware, but with mm doing the tuning, don't expect to get it done too quickly...I'm sure it took awhile to get your turbo shipped to you too....not to mention injectors, couplers, etc...

so......yeah

you don't have any PR buddies that can tune it for you? show them the accesstuner software and have them make a calibration

from the crazy stuff I've seen from there, I'm sure you could find someone

I have tried to show it to one of the top tuners here but noone likes to tune renesis engines here because they are afraid that they will break and honestly Im afraid of giving it to a tuner that doenst have as much exp on a renny. I mean we have awesome tuners here for rotaries just none that deal with the AP. If I had the Interceptor then that would be another story
