i just found out from the adjuster that they plan on trying to fix the hood and not replacing it. People i'm pissed i can't even get them to change the ******* hood let alone get a mazdaspeed front bumper? lol i have full coverage on this car and they are looking for the cheap *** way to do things i don't even know how to go about this

I am going though a similar experience. A good repair shop is the most important thing. Don't just talk with the adjuster but also with the repair shop. Insurance may be paying for the repair, but it is your car and your repair, just as if there was no insurance.
Challenge the insurance co. if they want to use aftermarket parts rather than OEM. The policy may allow them to use non-OEM that are as good as original parts, but that is rarely the case.
Looking on the bright side, a good collision center should make it look and run as good as ever. Hopefully, if there is damage to the front rails, it will be minor.
