Besides your pockets, I mean.
I know there is a coin holder compartment, but mine has no slots to keep coins separated. You just dump them in there.
I have a little spring-loaded coin holder so I can get coins quick for tolls. But I can't think of any place to put it other than the cup holder or the door pouch, and both aren't exactly convenient. And it's too big to fit in the ashtray or the dinky coin-holder compartment.

Yep. And guess what -- neither my coin holder nor my wrap-around Risky Business sunglasses fit in it!
The coin thing is so minor it's not harshing my first-week-of-ownership buzz at all. Just wondering what other folks do.

(My last post was in response to w0rm)
FONZIE, I imagine you could tape/glue/fasten a coin holder there, but it just wouldn't look right -- and I can imagine getting out and kneeing my change into the parking lot.

Silver coins go in the coin holder on the left. Copper coins don't make it past the "give a penny, take a penny" tray. Wallet goes between the driver's seat and center console in front of the seatbelt latch. House keys go in the ashtray. One day, by the grace of God, I will finally hook up my homelink and the sunglass holder will live up to its name.

SilverEIGHT, one of the interesting things I learned from this board is that the cupholders can get hot on long drives from sitting above the exhaust. Some people call them coffee warmers.
I had dumped a cell phone in there on a few short drives without problems. I don't know if I'd do it on long drives. I had planned on keeping it in the compartment with the power outlet, behind the cupholders, but I wonder if that gets warm, too.

I just keep it in the coin holder although I toss some in the cup holder until I get around to them. Some end up on the back seat floor because they fall out of my pants and end up falling through the seats.

i use 35mm film containers and put them in the cup holder spot. i keep quarters in them and then put the rest in the change holder to the left of the steering wheel. i used to put nickels and dimes in a seperate container, but i get too many of those. i never have drinks in the car either because it's the perfect spot for my right arm while driving. it feels too weird to keep the arm off the armrest.

I keep my loose change in the left-hand compartment next to the steering wheel, but only until I get home. I don't like change in my pocket and ANYTHING rattling in the micro-compartments drive me NUCKING FUTS!!

I put all change (including Twoonies and Loonies) in the change compartment. I put parking receipts in the ashtray, nothing in sunglass holder (Seriously, hook up your damn homelink systems, best reason to buy the car aside from driving reasons), and cell phone in the center console.
The center console does not get that hot on long drives btw.

Luckily the only thing I really need the coin thing for is occasional tolls on the Dulles Airport Access Road, and they're in multiples of 25 cents. Any other change is in the pants pocket (or maybe shirt pocket).

I use the coin holder if there is not enough room for your coins in there i would suggest getting a piggy bank at home and start putting them in there.they hate when i pay for my happy meal in all coins but thats how i keep it cleaned out.and to keep the small change out start giving them a penny when it comes to 26cents that confuses the hell out of them
