I posted some pics in my other thread. I definitely loved the looks of that Shinka.....still do. I got more comments about the color and car than any other car I've owned.
But it wasn't me and the Mustang is......so I am more happy with the Mustang.

What are your impressions so far. I tried one before I bought the 8 and really enjoyed it. Is it an '05? The optional '06 rims are real nice.

Mine is a 2006. Personally I hate all the factory wheels for the Mustang......even 18's are too small on this car. As soon as the tires are worn I am going to upgrade to 19's or 20's. Guys on the Mustang forums are fitting 295/35/20's in the rear with no problems.

Thanks!! I really like it and you don't see many others with this option. In fact, I've yet to see another in person. I am enjoying my new car very much. I rarely miss the RX8 and that just shows how little use there is for that type of sports car around my area. I wish I had a great twisty road stretch to take the RX8 on......but that wasn't the case. Grid-like road designs are not what a car like the RX8 was made for.......it was like a Lion in the zoo

The Mustang was made for straights and 0-60 sprints.....it fits my personality and current commuting environment much better. Slightly better fuel economy has been a bonus as well.

That roof is sweet. I have had days I needed to close the sunroof to keep my black 8 from being a solar oven though. I wonder if they sell some sort of shade for it?
You didn't show the front. I like the 4 round headlights. Did you get that setup?
ps. I saw some GTO's at my mazda/gm dealer.
They are just to RENT-A-CAR-esque

Previous generation (260hp) Mustangs weren't very fast.

From your link: (thanks by the way

Horsepower (SAE)
260 bhp @ 5250 rpm
Torque
302 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm
Thats what? about 100+ more hp and 100 more torque. Even with the weight difference An 8 will have more then it's handfull keeping up from a dead stop. That is IF you manage to launch your car from 6k. This is not a car meant to drag, the stang was/is.

I sold mine after 2 1/2 months and felt I was not going to be able to.... than last week I sold it to a nice guy. I have the automatic GT. I took a $300 hit is all.....way better than losing $1000-$2000 at the dealer!! He also got my winter tires in the deal....I say he made out pretty good! Congrats on your sale!
