WI Some A**hole decided to hit my car and run........can read and comment :):)

hey fellow rx-8 owners, i am so frustrated right nowi was looking out the window at the house i was at...and looked at my car and noticed something wasn't right, it was the front bumper, i was like "oh no!" "oh NO!!!" and everyone was looking at me like what is the matter, i went out side, and my front bumper........has a huge dent and is scratched and underneath the lip, above the front lisence plate is a huge crack and the lisence plate is dented and the lisence bracket is cracked (ill get pictures to post up soon) and there is a bunch of cracks in the paint.....i have no idea when this was done, i have not really driven it anywhere, and i know if i would have done it, i have figured out it was a front end of another vehicle cuz there is white scuffs(from another lisence plate) and outlines (from another plate) and heres the digger im currently without insurance yay fml, the thing is its a long story short, but i was in the process of getting new ins cuz my old ins dropped me, im just so upset for whoever hurt my baby 8......feel free to comment, and maybe tell about something like this that may have happened to yours

I had a hit & run on my bumper while parked recently and it cost me $625 out of pocket to get a new bumper, have it painted, and also replace one exhaust surround. At least I was able to do the remove and replace mysef. It really sux that there are such low life scofflaws out there.

Try to stay positive and 'turn lemons into lemonade' as you already plan to do.

I'm going to go ahead and point out how incredibly irresponsible it is to drive an uninsured car.

That is all.

yes yes, i know that part i cant help, only good thing is, its usually parked about 6 days of the week and not driven, and my guess was that the gas guy who came into the yard yesterday hit it(cuz the marks from the lisence plate is much to high for a regular sized car), but am not too sure cuz i wasnt watching him the whole time, thats the only thing i was thinking

Did you do the last repair yourself? You said it was done horribly.

That's like 4 tickets in less than 2.5 years. No wonder your insurance wanted to drop you. Too bad about the front end.

well im in the process of getting ins. im just in a money tight situation, when i got dropped i was playing catch up on my bills, then i was w/o ins. well then i finally caught up on my bills and got fired, for the stupidest reason(not even my fault) so there i was jobless, and since i have to switch co. i will have to pay like a deposit and for the first month so it will run around $600-800 and that on a budget of $550/mo im stuck (in that budget im paying for a car, student loan, business fees, new rear tires(im driving on bald ones), irs, phone, back rent(moving out tho), and dish bill that im cancelling for shitty service,) and i dont have anywhere near that amount to pay even half that stuff, and thats why im stuck trying to get money for ins. asap!! ill figure it out tho

Just get one of those unknown insurance companies meanwhile you catch up on all your bills etc.. They should cost much less than well known insurance companies. G-luck

try progressive their one of the cheaper well known ins. companies. But to be honest i dont think your going to get any good premium with that record.
