Read this thread . Some dealers are still doing it under warranty. Some are not. It's an issue many here have dealt with.

i have two more quick questions,
what is a rotary accents package?? and if i buy a used car from a dealer other than mazda, then how does mazda know to contact me about all the recalls?

When you do eventually buy one, just call Mazda North America. Tell them your vehicle info and have them put you on their mailing list. Better yet, stick around here! The info on the recall's was posted here long before anyone started getting their letters.

I just had my Hubs done at Ferman Mazda here in Florida, they covered it under warrenty, I stated this shoul dnot be happening to a 30 k car! I understand on rotors but not the HUb..they saw my way and sanded them and painted them. So good luck

yea I brought my in during my oil change in october and told them about the rust, the guys were great! They said no problem we will take care of it and if the rust comes back they will replace the whole rotor.

It took me the better part of a day since I cleaned the rust off with a wire wheel and carefully applied 3 coats that required a drying time between coats.

Best price I found on-line was at www.hubcapsplus.com (believe it or not) because the shipping was free. You might be able to get it locally. Their price was $34.99 per kit. Not cheap, but it has held up very well.
