Anyone have any experience with this company? Particularly, with the Stage 3 and 3+.

I searched under the RX-8 and didn't see any torque specs listed for the application, just the pricing. Did you find this somewhere, Carbon, and I just missed it?

Go Texas Longhorns!
Per Racing Beat, the stock clutch is plenty strong to about 280whp unless your doing constant drag (drop) launches in the car.
You going to need some serious power boosts to really justify this unless your using the car for competition.

No, I havent any info on this company or product. I was just introduced to it second-hand (via an evo owner) from an FD owner that had on (or has one) on his car. I am JUST CURIOUS! I am likely only going to put a slighly stronger plate on my car. 50% stronger will hold 300hp very easily (when I get there) Besides, did you look at the prices. Way to much $ for me.

I would definetely say a new clutch is needed for owners putting out 280whp.

I don't think Ike was bashing the 8's low on power, its true that you don't benefit from a stage 3 clutch. More grip on the clutch only meant more shock to the other parts of the transmission, personally I would rather burnt/slip my clutch than grind the gears from mismatch during revving.
However all these has nothing to do with what you are asking and maybe it wasn't for your 8 at all so I think everyone should just stick to the thread question.

Yeah, my info was to be directed to a friend w/ a modded evo (who eventually will be replacing his clutch.) We got the info from a guy with a RX7 who has it on his car. Not exactly a Torque monster.
Interestingly, I just got on my doorstep 5 minutes ago, a centerforce dual friction clutch and centerforce pressure plate (with the little weight do-dads.) This should go on my car this week. Not nearly the clutch mentioned in this thread.
As to that clutch, I am still interested in any info on the company or product.
