I spoke to a rep from Mazda and a Mazda salesman. Both said they have heard rumors about a a Speed RX-8. Has anyone here heard of this? Or maybe some information online about it? They said if there is a Speed RX-8...it'll be turboed....

i work for this company Lithia. So i called one of our stores... http://www.fresnomazda.com/ ....a salesman there said he has heard Mazda MIGHT come out. so i figured this would be the place to ask if there is any truth to his statement.

 

There was a magizine I read about Mazda having a new RX-7 in the production, it was in one of those magizines you'd see at a doctor's office or somewhere like it.

Some offices supply more than just a Opera magizines, thankfully.

I think asking about the MSpeed RX8 should be an auto-ban for 1 month

 

Well, I was talking to a salesman a few months back, and he told me the MazdaSpeed vehicles go in 2 year cycles. There were two years of the speed 6, next year will be the 2nd year of the speed 3 and there will then be another one in '09, but he didn't know what it was yet.

Ok, I'll go ahead and say it...here comes the 300hp CX-7 in '09!

My money's on MPV for the next MS vehicle. The hotted up minivan segment is untouched, and the Espace F1 was actually rather desirable!

I asked one of the dealerships here in hawaii about that same speed rx8 that you found on mazda.co.jp/mz_tune/ and he told me that it would NEVER come to the US....

Nor would the vehicle meet US specs if I were to buy it in Japan and ship it here.

 

oh god not another one of these threads... can we start auto-banning for starting an mS8 thread? Its really getting old.

I think I saw stickers of that once on a Honda. Does it make the car fast like a rocket?
