Squeaking noise when I turn AC on????

Squeaking noise when I turn AC on????
Hey guys...I have a 05 shinka 96,000 miles with new engine at 65,000. Recently, while I turn the Air Conditioning on, I get a rather uncomfortable squeaking noise from where it sounds like beneath the car.

Any ideas what this could be?

Check the belt tension & condition. Could also be a compressor or clutch problem.

i get it too when i turn on the AC, i think it just has to do with a squeaky fan...nothing more than that

Mine does that. I took it to the dealership and had them check the belts, they said it was fine and that it was normal for the compressor to make that noise. *shrug*
