Stalling - again
My 2004 RX-8 with AT has been plagued with a stalling problem the past couple of years. It idles rough at stoplights and will occasionally stall starting and while driving. The first time we experienced this the dealer replaced the spark plugs and computer module. It’s in the shop right now and the dealer is at a loss.
Does any body have more info on this problem?
Thanks,
Steve

New engine huh. Do they replace it with another one that's going to crap out after 25,000 miles? What is the root cause? It doesn't seem like they can do this for long and stay in business.

I DID several searches a-hole and it turns up a bunch of BS like I'm getting here. A lot of opinions with no substance! What exactly do you think this forum is for if a guy can't ask for some help from fellow owners?

then how come when I search, the results came up with TONS of useful information ?
Might have something to do with your *search* skills. try to come up with terms like "04 engine stall idle rough" and so on.
I dont want to act like an a-hole. but come on, your question has been answered like 10 thousand times every month.

This forum is great for getting answers, tho sometimes people get a little irritable w/the same questions over and over. Being a public, relatively anonymous internet forum, there's always some "a-holes" - thanks for identifying yourself as one w/in 5 posts.
FYI - the "a-hole" you're referring to gave you enough keywords to find your answers. Your attitude should ensure that you don't get any more "no substance" help.

I always thought everyone here is sweet as pie at all times. Shows what I know, right?
sheesh. I tried to get a little more info & help, but noooooo. Somebody has to get their panties all in a wad and insult the whole damn forum.
dat's what happens when you try to be helpful. Shoulda used more "yes, sir" - "is this what you're looking for, sir"
now I'm jaded, and all newbs will just get the ole'
