Stealership at it again!!!
I just got back from getting an oil change since they are open late on thursdays and i know i wont get to it tomorrow. i told them that my brakes were squeaking that there was a tsb for it. keep in mind i have 2914 miles when i brought it there.
so anyway they told me that there squeaking from me abusing the brakes and there are rings on my rotors and they said that it was due to overheating. i thought that it was because the pads were wearing uneavenly but they insist that it was abuse.
furthermore when they typed my vin into the computer, it said that my car had 5000 miles on it even though this was my first visit. so anyway the resolution was that they girl will call the service rep and see if she can grant me a goodwill change.
i think this is complete BS but what can i do.... ill call them back tomorrow and see what they say..
any input on the situation would be greatil appreciated

I went and took my 8 in for brakes, battery, and starter (all TSB) to my dealership and they said the same thing (although my car had 40,000 miles on it). They told me the brakes were just worn and started to wear on my rotors, so I wrote a letter to the dealership about the multiple trips I had been there and how other friends had been treated so kindly and differently for the same problem...
Needless to say, the owner of the dealer personally called me and replaced all three issues free of charge. Just remember to be respectful (don't be forcefully rude or complain), but show them that you care about the car, bringing your service back to Mazda, and they will most likely want to keep you as a customer.
Hope it works out.

I say find another dealership as well. I had the squeaking brakes around 6K and they had the tech ride with me to hear it and he knew right away the TSB and recommended the upgraded pads....Sad that some Mazda dealers are making a bad experience for some owners.
