Still Getting That Thrill

Still Getting That Thrill
Well, I have almost 38,000 miles on my '05 and I still get that same thrill driving my 8 as I did on the first drive. Nothing like chewing up a winding road in the 8.
I'm still so smitten with it that I get a smile on my face just looking at it when it's parked.
So, you can compare the 8 to other cars all you want and throw all sorts of performance numbers at me, but the 8 is it for me. (Ok, at least until I can afford the Carrera GT).
Anyone else with bunch of miles on their 8 feel that way too?

54,000 and I still feel that way. Last Sat is was 60 here in Jersey and I washed it by hand. I love the way it looks after a bath. But the best time is when I leave work and see it there waiting for my 50-minute drive home.

Yeah the car really stirs the soul, still breaking in my car so i haven't really pushed her to her limits(9k rpm ), but its still a blast hitting long sweepers, off ramps,on ramps and some curvy road on my daily commute at pretty intense speed!
This car is so THERAPUTIC! After a bad day at the office, within 5 min of driving her i am back smiling and life is good again.

I took a drive in the new Acura TL, nice features, lots of tech stuff but driving it was blah, my 95 Volvo 850 Turbo drives a little nicer. When I left in the 8 I was back in love, driving the 8 is awesome, the handling is unbeatable.
