Stock replacment 18" rims
Well, I warned my daughter when we brought this car home that the rims were susceptible to getting curb rash. The day before she turned 16 and got her license, she drove her grandma out to eat lunch and scraped both right side rims on the curb. The rear one is not bad but she really uglied up the right front - about 8 to 10 inches around the outer edge is chewed.
What are the odds of finding a single rim to replace it with without having to go through Mazda? I suspect, like most dealer purchased replacement parts, the price will be ridiculous if I try to go that route. And I expect that most people that have put aftermarket rims on will only want to sell the entire set (that's what I'd do). We happen to like the stock rims but I'd replace them with a whole set of aftermarkets before I'd pay what Mazda is likely going to want for just one of them.
Anyway, I'm going to start looking but can anyone tell me which years had these wheels on them for an exact match?

Sux...
Take a look at the 4sale section there are usually a thread or 2 with wheels being sold.
Ebay is another route to go. you should be able to get a used rim for around $100
Good luck.

well thats a blower.
reason number 3452345342 to not have kids. check.
the dealership will charge you $550 for a new rim.
you can get a pristine rim on the forums for $150 or so. usually, sets of 4 rims are sold from $300-500. depending on their condition. another option is wheel repair, that should run about $100/rim too.
i hope you make her pay for it. she needs to be responsible for her actions.

OP; that's pretty close to what happened to me (both passenger side).
Subsequent to Toyo T1R directional tire mounting they ended up left and right rear. I just had them refinished at Keystone and they came out perfect (about $400 for the pair). It could have been cheaper but the '05 Shinka has 'hypersilver' wheels which require a basecoat of black, so a bit more money.

In NYC with all the fuxking uneven sidewalks, I got curb rash all over my wheels that I dont even cared anymore.
Some ppl said I dont have to park so close to the sidewalks. Well, there was a time, this ******* garbage truck almost knock my mirror off, I was in the car and watch the truck "zoom" by, it almost touch my mirror like maybe by an inch or too, scared the **** outa me, if I park an inch more the truck probably took my mirror already.
but yeah, make your daughter pay for it. So she will know how to take care of her ride.

eBay or Craigslist. Personally, unless your daughter has suddenly become a great driver, I'd just leave them. I'm sure she'll scratch them up further.
