Here's what I did....
I SEARCHED (the button on the top right). I used the keywords: "stock rim width". I learned the answer to your question.

Seriously. What if you are unable to search, perhaps a wood chipper accident? Well the answers are: 8" width. 245/40/18 tires fit perfect.

not trying to be a dick, but def. search, you will find a lot of answers that many people have posted before. I've learned a lot from some of the very knowledgeable people on here... just look around and you'll find some good info.
