a stupid moron scratched my front bumper
i don't know who did it.. i found out today morning after i wahsed my car..
i went to the bodyshop, and they told me that the scratch is too deep to polish up.. they suggest me either leave it on or take the whole front bumper and paint it.. i went to several shops, and they told me same thing..
i am so frustrated.. i don't wanna leave the scratch, but don't feel good about speding $400 for a brand new car..
are there any alternatives for this scratch??

If you do highway driving, the front end will be riddled with chips and scratches before you know it and that'll blend right in. There's just something about a low car with soft paint... Anywho, if you're free touch-up paint has arrived, now would be a good time to put it to use.

If you use the touch up paint be sure to apply as little as possible to avoid blobs. If you get the blobs you will have to use Langka to smooth it out.
If you don't want to try to fix yourself you can check out Carsmedics or other similar outfits you might have locally that specialize in this stuff. They use airbrushes and don't need any prep that a regular body shop would need.

I got scratches... and chips... all on my aftermarket front bumper. I got scratches on my stock front bumper because of the bodyshop. Doesn't make me happy, but hey... it happens.

i dont think it looks bad at all, at least not from the photos.
the night i drove mine home i bumped my front bumper into some **** piled at the back of my garage. i hadnt gotten used to the size of the car yet. anyway, i put on a scratch similar to yours but only 1 'line'. i was furious.

If you want to just cover it so it cannot be seen very well you can get the red colormatch wax at walmart for I think about $5.00. I works well for light scratches espically on the clear coat.

dude that's not a scratch. haha, talking about being ****. that's like a hair line scratch. you'd be better off waiting a bit and seeing all the little nicks once you've driven it on the highway. as someone previously stated, the car is low and has soft paint. that's a recipe for disaster in terms of getting dents. i hate 'em as much as you but what can you do. you can a) get a giant bubble which you put your car into or b) park it in the garage and just look at it.

omg. I got a scratch today. I'll post pics when I get home from work. A truck kicked up some road debris going down the interstate and it hit my bumper. Even gouged out a couple spots on the headlight
That is not a scratch...
