Stupid Question

I'm a fan of the old 3rd Gen RX-7, and I like the way the RX-8 handles and drives. I've tested it out alot, however, I really do not want a 3 seater. Anyone know if the RX-7 or a 2 door coupe version of the RX-8 will be released with either twin turbos or super charger?

I'm honestly just curious, and haven't had any luck looking on the webs or flipping back in your forums. I couldn't find a search option for the forum so sorry to ask a question you probably get 100 times...

If you could link the post instead to it or something that would be awesome, thank you ahead of time.

And before some one says the RX-8 is not for me, you're probably right, I was/am a big RX-7 fan, and I like the way the RX-8 is looking however, I wish there was more. I'm 23 and honestly wanting to get a 2 door coupe when I hit 25 (due to insane insurance for being single), I'm in the Navy, and I enjoy driving.

I'm looking at the Lancer Evolution, Exige, and RX-8, or just buying an old 7 and rebuilding it. I was just hoping someone could help me out, I gotta lot of time to plan and just want to make an educated decision.

Thanks!

As far as i know, if the rx8 continues to do well, a 2 seater rx7 is planned for the future. As far as forced induction models, that i dont know. Ive heard rumors about electric turbos etc etc.

If you can make do with 2 seats and you don't need a trunk, get the Exige. It's by far the funnest car of the lot.
Read this this funny review of the Exige by Jeremy Clarkson.

Thanks for the article information.

After reading them it makes me want to put more effort into making a decision...

The Exige sounds so fun, the Lancer Evolution sounds more pratical (seating wise), and hte RX-8/7 coupe is like the evil middle solution that gives me pros from both...

Yeah, tough decision, but the RX8 would be significantly cheaper (25%) than the other 2.

I like turbos so I would probably go for the next generation mazda speed version which would about make it teh same price I think...

Hopefully it won't be as bad as the old RX-7 Touring model with dual turbos 45k was a little steep for that.
