Stupid question about OEM RX-8 pedals (manual)
I was thinking of making my own home-brew racing pedals for my PC (for some racing sims). I thought it would be neat if I could mount up some real RX-8 pedals (clutch, brake, accel pedals and foot rest).
Is there a reason why all the online vendors that sell OEM parts only sell aluminum pedals for "automatic rx-8's"? I doubt I'm going to buy them online (probably from a junk yard) because they're too expensive - but I was just curious why you cannot easily buy, lets say a replacement clutch pedal face? Similarly, what's the difference between the foot rest for the auto RX-8 and the manual RX-8?

I think the autos come with rubber pedals not metal. Which is why they can be bought as an accesory. At least thats what I always thought, because why would mazda offer them as an accesory when they already have them?
As to where to buy the manual transmission pedals, I would try Mazmart (Vendor here on the forums). They should be able to get the parts.
