If no one definitively knows on this site, why would someone on LS2.com...I'm just now remembering all the rotary wisdom that poured from that fountain of knowledge before...

 

I was asking about the turbo theory there...and someone was saying how they work....on a "V" shaped engine...so i asked about how they effected rotary etc and then i asked how a supercharged worked on rotary cuz i have never heard of a charged 8

and its just a couple of ignorant people there...and they were the ones who lurked the galleries and the "bar-n-grill" the technical part of the forums are actually really good and a lot of people like the 8 for what it is and they all love the interior...and so do i

 

There probably are many very mechanically inclined members on that forum. I was just recalling what you posted before from some of their members, like the "rotary is a rotary is a rotary" comment. Just a lot of misconception out there about these engines.

 

O yeah...i kno....there are a few people who are complete ********...like him...or another person who flamed me for being a ricer...although my car is 100% stock(he got flamed by so many for saying that)...or when i first got it i posted pics and some1 said "how can you sleep at night, buying a jap car after what they did to us at Pearl Harbor. You should be ashamed of yourself. Your a terrible American, blah blah blah, he told me so many stupid f-in things....and he also got flamed...so there are a few out there....but very few...most really like this car

 

and ther reason i asked there...is i kno them and i kno they are VERY knowledgeable about not just LSX vehicles or American cars...but cars in general

I've never heard of Mazdaspeed going supercharged. Could be though, I'm not an authority on the topic.

 

theres a rumor saying mazda's supercharging the 8...but its not confirmed...im sure you guys all heard and saw a few pics of the of the concept supercharged white mazdaspeed renegade rx8 that has a triangular shaped hoodscoop?? im pretty sure thats what theyre referring to...theres another thread here im just too lazy to find it xP

What I read last was that THAT *speed* model never got an official nod from Mazda and does not meet emission standards... then again.. there are lots of rumours and mazda refuses to deny any or accept any...

Time will tell... for now.. all RUMOURS!

Ford version of RX8 to have supercharged four cylinder enging with 300 HP and 250 ft-lbs of torque.

Yup all just rumours and lies till Mazda puts the pin to the paper. I heard that the RX-8 was originally supposed to be a hybred car

 

at first.. mazda hyped up the car so much that the expections were super high and the lack of torque and and power worked against it... ppl starting comparing the car's power without thinking abt the what the car is reallyabout..

now.. they are refusing to give out information... letting the hype build on its own.. just hope mazda can live up to the super hype this time...

i have been waiting for an official speed model.. but thats it.. cant wait anymore.. gonna get the stock and see where the road of life takes me n my 8...

Everybody knows this is no rumor but simply 100% fact. I expect more from a senior member.

 

I think what didn't pass emmisions was a turboed version, which is why there was talk of a supercharger
