Synthetic Oil

I've heard both and can't seem to get a straight answer can you or is it benificial to use synthetic oil or is it harmful to the rotary????????

5w20 is ok, 5w30 is ok, even 5w40 is ok

it depends on where you live.

40 might be a bit too much for Renesis.

20 I think its too *whack*

30, best of both worlds. my engine is happy
(but clutch bracket broke, thats another story )

Use whatever you think its good, any name brand should be fine.

oh yeah, I was at BJs last saturday, and they have a really good deal on Shell Full Synthetic Oil, 15 bux after rebate. original 21. I got some a month something ago when they were doing 17 bux after rebate (Damn it) got myself 2 cases of 5w30. I might try it after Im done with my RP (still got like 6 quart bottle)

for 15 bux a case (6 quart) like 2 bux something for a quart of full synthetic. not bad

yea, i dont know, 5w30 and especially synthetic scares me, I keep hearing how bad it is for the car yet you guys use it without any problem! haha, so I just continue to use what I use
