Well, I decided to take it to the dealer so they can check for any damage that might have been done when I flooded it a few weeks back. I was just wondering what else I should ask them to check/fix/do when I take it in? I figure since it is under warranty I want to get all the free **** I can done to it. I had my last flash update about 3 months ago, not sure if there are any more recent ones.

 

I assume that you un-flooded it yourself? Had the dealer done it they would have at least replaced the plugs and possibly the battery and starter with upgraded units. I doubt that they will do that now, but you can ask. Also ask them to check for any DTC codes, pending or otherise, in the PCM. In addition, flooding can damage the catalytic converter so have them check that out as well.

 

Yeah I unflooded it myself. I'm more worried about the spark plugs than the battery or starter since I just flooded that once (backed the car out of the garage and shut it right back off). I will ask if they can replace them with the newer plugs.

I guess I'll ask them about flashes too, along with seeing if they can do anything about the rust stains on my back right wheel hub.
