Since ive bought it from the showroom floor, Ive never had any problems and dog the living hell outta the car every single day, which would be max boost and hitting every shift point. and she still runs like the day i bought her =]
maybe you shouldnt put something down that you dont know much or nothing about.
Second: I concur, your right.
Third: why =] if its not a totally stupid question with a simple answer and just requires a few pros and cons, then why not.
thank you nyc! here ya go...

Hey man, can I ask you how your car drive compared to an rx8? My buddy just got an 06 Ion Redline (I think he wanted to be cool and have suicide doors like me) and for some reason I know we're gonna be debating the pros and cons and crap lol. What do you think?

First Correction: This car beats the **** out my two friends 04 RX8 and 06 RX8 off the line on the 1/4. im just standing up for an awesome and well made car.

1/4 mile is for fast cars.
Autocross is for fast drivers.
Who cares how fast a car is in a 1/4 mile. Any idiot can drive straight. No skill required.
Now that being said, I can not wait till I get me 8 tonight.. Even better, till next weekend for the Autocross.

Wow, it doesn't matter if that Redline is faster... It's a f-ing Saturn.... The company came into the game bragging about airbags... Are you proud of your airbags?
And our 8's have one thing you might not be able too deal with... It's called style... We drive good looking cars, not shaved down shoe box's that copy our door methods simply because they acknowledged too far down the game that Mazda's the s***
You don't deserve the Zoom Zoom... You deserve good airbags...
Now what did I convince you to do?

the rx8 begs to be dogged.
paying off 14k in a couple of months? then a supercharger should be no financial problem for you. and your gas mileage neither.
if i were you, i would save up for three months and buy a sky redline outright. i'd give my ion redline to my peoples so they can tag along.

Saturn Ion=Cobalt SS SC so don't rag on it JUST because it is a Saturn. However, like all GM's cars, they seem to be undurable POS. If you look online, they actually do a comparo and they said the car is good but it literally started to fall apart after a couple hours of lapping. You don't want an 8. Like said before get something with more power, STI/EVO, Mustang GT, etc are more in your alley. Unless you want to buy a new car, then spend another 5-7k getting up the horsepower specs you obviously want....I would look elsewhere.

Just like most of the GM made cars.
Sorry but thats how I see it. I would rather get a Ford than any GM made cars.

Gee Mikey, I've never seen anyone get so excited over an econo-box rental car before. You clearly are not ready to get rid of your Saturn, as it is such a **** hot car. Please hold on to it, really ... hold on to it. You can't possibly be thinking of getting rid of it.
