i should be able to hit 14.3 with a good run, POSSIBLY 14.2. i havent been to the track since i installed my fluid motorsports bracket so my shifting was getting pretty sloppy, but i still managed to hit 14.41 last time out. also i was running the base MM map, which i was under the impression did something. apparently it didnt, because i never bothered to send him my maps and the 6 month window he gives you is long over. so i've switched to the cobb stage 1 map and am interested if there is any improvement there. mm says the stage 1 map is just bullshit and doesnt do anything substantial. so we'll see.

Ok, what do you guys think? I'm new to this forum, but am a member of the mkv forum. So that means i'm a vw owner. I have an 06 gti. Let's start off by saying my car is my baby. Its a stage 2 don't feel like listing everything but its sweet. It smoke any rx8 without a turbo.
So, a happen to see a black rx8 for sale. Now the rx8 has moon roof, 4 doors and biggest thing rear wheel drive.
I really like the look of the rx8 and i'm sure they will trade straight up. But idk if I want to trade for a slower car? Also the rx8 might be a little impractical for Minnesota winters? Any input would help.
Thanks

Shazy, I can't vouch for all that but I am willing to talk to him and see the posts he puts up after he comes to appreciate the RX-8 as much as I do. The rest of you are free to continue with your particular approaches.
I have deleted all my previous posts in this thread and I shall unsubscribe, as well.
"C Block", feel free to PM me if you are truly interested in all the RX-8 has to offer.

...is it because it's Sunday and 'nuthin to do...why are you all kickin this guy around like an old shoe?
...he's not in the community and we at least owe him the courtesy of civility.. or has that gone out the window in this forum to anyone that speaks cars a bit different than we do?
...he at least showed up and asked something...
...if he was you, would you ever come back here even if you tried and liked and bought an 8?
To the OP go down to your local Mazda dealer and try the sucker out...then come back and speak with (even a bit) of authority on what you ask....plus you'll already know if the car is at all interesting to you...even if you don't wring it out completely.

Well where to start, well not sure if its the gt30 or 45 upgrade for the gti's but I know what you mean. First off that's 500hp not much of a daily driver car but sweet. You can't use stock internals, so more money. And with bigger turbo you get longer spool time. Unlike the k04, you can do the 1/4 mile in about the same time due to the longer spool time. And 320 hp will be just fine for this daily driver.
