TCS sound/feel?

No, that's not me behind the wheel. I was the one behind the lens.

Is frequent application of the ABS portion of the DSC harmful to the vehicle over time?
In very icy, snowy, slushy areas it is hard to avoid. It occurs to me mostly when cornering or when the vehicle is getting tossed around a little on really snowy or slushy roads. This is occurring at slow speeds (10 to 20 kph).
Admittedly I am still adjusting to the difference in throttle control between my former FWD vehicle and the 8, but road conditions around town have been unusually horrible this year.
In any event, can I assume that the ABS system is meant to withstand some moderate use by comparison to other types of safety systems such as pretentioners and airbags?

id say no, its just a sensor controlling your brakes, its not really a wear item. now your brakes may wear a little faster but id be willing to be you would never notice a difference. I always turn my tcs off because id rather have the control but the abs is quite a slap in the face. everyone in my car always freaks out when it kicks in

no point in having it if you have any clue how to drive. Its nice for my wife in the snow but I find it quite annoying when im trying to ease out of a slide and the stupid brakes start kicking in and ****.

^haha yeah for real i would prob have it turned off all the time anyway except maybe in the heavy rain when it would make me comfortable but i figure i've driven this in the snow with summer tires on without TCS so I know how to take my time and b careful etc etc

part of my normal driving experience where i'm at. the tires don't spin when you goose it, and the calipers feel like they're disintegrating when the brakes are applied.
or like how the 2004 owners felt when it was confirmed that they had 238hp instead of 250hp.
