I don't have heated seats (no big loss, but I would like it) and I LOVE the sand interior, but the GT just seemed to little for the money, you're right. Oh, I added the auto-dimming mirror for 70 bucks.

By the cheaper one, and save some of that loot for snow tires and wheels.
When you say OTD (out-the-door) are you including or excluding taxes?

What's the best price on a base model 6MT with the sports package?

In my area

I found a half dozen sport package mt's on lots with advertised prices of $23,788 in the North Georgia / Southeast Tennessee area, I could not get them to come down at all so I just walked out twice on consecutive days, each time they ran after me offering more off the car, so I suspect that you can with a little work get a new 07' sport 8 with minimal options for around $20-21 if you fight a lot. They are showing window sticker prices of $27,070, I read somewhere that Mazda is running a $1500.00 dealer incentive discount in June on the RX-8.

Anyhow that's my 2 cents on the current pricing thing in my area. I can name the lots where I sw the cars if that is an attractive price, if it's just average stuff, or Is a ripoff, I'd be interested to hear about other areas of the country.

I just paid 29,000 for a BB M/T grand touring with red & blk leather, spare tire and Sirius. Went to Star Mazda in Glendale, CA (Bob Nameche salesman) You will not find a BMW 330 for that price, probably not even a 328.
