Oh you meant that when you bought the car, your wife approved of Mazda over Honda?

My bad...

Well I don't have the problem of being married just yet, but if I did...rest assured...I buy the cars I want...wife be damned.

You have to justify the four extra wheels and tires and tent and coolers, and radios, and sun glasses, and cameras, and shirts, and shoes, and gloves that it takes to go fast at autocross.

No, it would take a missed shift or a really bad driver for the S2000 to not be faster and quicker. There's a pretty big difference between a car that traps 95mph and one that traps 100mph.

I'm calling out the dogs on this one.
1/4 mile is s2k 14.19 @ 99.90, rx8 14.49 @ 95.47. .3 sec difference. You make the call mario. Autocross courses never get above 70.

If you want to play mag racer... That's the best time a mag has ever gotten with the RX-8, but the S2K has run as fast as 13.8 in a mag. Also, a bunch of S2K owners have gotten high 13s at the track, only a one person that we know of has ever even come close to the mag times for the RX-8.

Oh shaadup! How 'bout you do us all a favour, and go down to the next amateur drag night and see HOW MANY drivers match the magazine times in their stock rides, then maybe you'll stop going on about how big of a deal .3 sec. and 3.5mph is. You remind me of the guys I see every summer who go out and buy the latest and greatest liter bikes out there and go on about 2 fewer pounds here and slipper clutches there and all orts of crap, only to get their asses handed to them by guys on 15 year old bikes.
