Texas License Plates
#5
Don't take this as bragging, because it definitely isn't, but I have been pulled over so many times by cops that it's almost a routine for me.
Anyway, I have only been told once that I needed to put the front license plate on my car. And that was only because the guy noticed that I had an expired rear tag, no safety inspection sticker, and an expired county sticker.
Northern VA has so many different types of cops in such a small area that you see them running around all over the place all the time. You can almost smell the unmarked cars out.
It's just not an issue to most cops. They don't seem to be concerned at all about it and you can sit right across from them at an intersection and they will pass right on by.
So screw it. Ditch the tag and make your 8 look as cool as it's supposed to.

TX law is mandatory that you run a front plate.
I have been in in the Fort Worth area since 99. In the past month I have gotten pulled over twice for no front plate and never once before that. But, I have MI plates so they can't do anything to me. I like the look on their faces when they ask me how long I have lived here and I tell them since 99.
Don't put it on. See how long you can go before they stop you for it. If it becomes a repetitive issue, then just put it on.
